On November 29, 2005 Officer Stewart was shot a quarter of an inch above his kevlar vest in his left upper
quadrant. Officer Stewart ignored this wound and kept pursuing the gunman first in his partol car and then by foot... Later
that evening he under went surgery and died due to the serious damage done to his heart.
Dillon Stewart leaves behind a wife and two young children.
